Forever Grateful

Just when Kaiyah was finally feeling confident about completing her degree in music therapy and getting a job in her field, pregnancy threatened to undo her plans. Still, as she watched her baby moving on the ultrasound screen at Women’s Life Care Center, she found herself feeling excited and hopeful. After spending just one hour at the center, she concluded “I can do this!’. What had just happened?

Kaiyah was already entering her fifth month of pregnancy when she came to the center. She had dismissed the early signs of pregnancy, telling herself that she had just been under a lot of stress and her body was ‘off kilter’. At the center, she was able to relax, and to begin to address her strong desire for stability. She says that she remains ‘forever grateful’:

“I find that I have been talking about Women’s Life Care Center a lot lately . . . The staff there helped with everything – the items I needed for my baby, parenting education and life coaching. The environment is comfortable and safe. . . and that’s important, especially if you’re doing pregnancy alone.

Please keep donating so that you can pay the staff -- because they need to be here.”
