The Growing a Miracle Campaign is in Full Bloom!
The WLCC team is thrilled to share that your generosity has brought our vision into reality. A spring 2025 groundbreaking and construction will be underway for the new WLCC facility which will be located at 3006 Rice Street in Little Canada. With the needs of our clients and their families at the forefront, we have been hard at work designing this state-of-the-art medical facility and pregnancy resource center. We have designed a welcoming space where clients will be served with love and dignity.
The Center will have increased capacity for more ultrasounds to be offered and more room for clients to bring their families to share in the life-affirming experience of seeing their baby for the first time on the ultrasound screen. We have included plans for a Chapel, open to clients and supporters alike, larger rooms for group classes, a teaching kitchen, a baby boutique where parents can choose their own items for baby, an expanded food pantry and a child's play area.
We will also have more rooms for education, gathering, and storage of donations.
Expansion into a new, much larger building on a nearby site gives us the ability to not only continue doing what we've been doing for so long, but also expand those services in a variety of ways. Our vision includes leasing space to other family-focused service providers, expanding clinic hours, and providing additional programs such as prenatal, childbirth, breastfeeding, natural fertility classes, plus mental health support and increased material assistance for mothers and fathers of young children.
Lord willing, we will be operating out of our new building in summer of 2026 and we will continue to keep you updated on the progress. As you will see in our annual report (inside), because of your generosity, we have had a record-breaking fundraising year. We are prayerfully setting aside funds for increased expenses once we are operating out of our new building.
We couldn't do this without you!

Nadia’s story
Nadia had been to our center before. During her last pregnancy, she visited us for a pregnancy test and ultrasound appointment. She left undecided about her path forward. Soon after that day, she chose to end her baby’s life by using the abortion pill.
Pregnant again one year later, Nadia returned to Women’s Life Care Center for yet another ultrasound. Greeted at the center by the same advocate who had assisted her a year ago, she seemed relieved. “I had an abortion,” she stated immediately.
Notably, this day marked one year since her abortion. “I’m glad you came back,” the advocate responded. Nadia decided to go forward with this pregnancy and she joined our Pregnancy and Parenting Education Program. Eventually, she would receive financial assistance from our Center as well.
As Nadia and her advocate continued to meet, Nadia divulged that she struggled with regret over her abortion, regret that manifested itself in a variety of ways. She obsessed over the details of this new pregnancy, worrying about the smallest of elements. She stated that she felt guilty “all the time” and could not sleep at night.
Throughout the pregnancy, our advocate listened to Nadia and eventually offered post-abortion support. Nadia’s daughter was born last month. As she is working through her grief and trauma, Nadia is now much more able to enjoy her new baby with her husband. Recently, she wrote to us:
"I am very grateful for all your support at a time when I felt most vulnerable. Thank you for your noble hearts. We are happy that there are people with so much humanity. Wishing you a thousand blessings.”
IN CONTEXT . . .
Lately, we’re seeing an uptick in situations like Nadia’s: Women who have chosen chemical abortion, regretted that decision and are coming to us when faced with the next pregnancy. The remorse can be overwhelming.
While our state has become a clearinghouse for wholesale abortion, we are left to pick up the pieces when the aftermath turns dark. It is troubling that no one prepared these women for what was to come. In Minnesota, the guardrails that could have once protected them are gone. There is no waiting period before an abortion, no parental consent, no informed consent, and often no one to suggest that she may be the victim of undue pressure to abort.
We know that we are blessed to be able to walk alongside the women who come to us following their abortions. To better serve these women, we have recently added a Post-Abortion Advocate service that offers compassion and encouragement, and infuses hope in the midst of their crushing pain. To see a young woman walk into our Center trembling and leave smiling as she begins the healing process is to witness a miracle. We are eternally grateful for your support which allows us to be present to these moms
