About Us
The Life Care Centers were originally founded in 1974 by Sister Jeanne Terese Condon as a response to the 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe vs. Wade, which legalized abortion. Sister Jeanne’s mission was to reach women who were predisposed to having an abortion, to aid them in understanding the medical and emotional ramifications of this action, and the availability of other options.

The first Life Care Center opened its doors at the University of Minnesota campus. Shortly thereafter, additional Life Care Centers were opened in Minnesota and Wisconsin. There are now 20 Centers in Minnesota and 2 in Eastern Wisconsin

We are a non-profit agency which relies on the community for funding and merchandise to assist mothers and babies. We promote, as an inalienable right, that the unborn have the right to life from conception to natural death.
